We are seeking Embedded QA testers who will be integrated into our development teams. These positions are responsible for testing the team’s output and contributing to the design and execution, by representing the "QA Point of View" in meetings and discussions.


Responsibilities

• Work independently within a wide range of development teams with limited supervision while maintaining constant and professional communication with developers, fellow testers, and management
• Enter accurate high-quality level game issues based on department standards into bug tracking system and communicate same to management
• Build detailed test plans that ensure complete testing coverage for a set of features or system in the game
• Supervise and own the creation of test cases and test suites that cover all game functionality
• Become an ‘expert’ on the testing status of the game and its features
• Proactively gather feedback from QA’s customers and contribute to the evolution of the department
• Manage the project database; ensuring continuous, high quality bug entry, timely response to requests for more information, and proper bug flow
• Assist in the creation and implementation of training materials for team members
• Coach and mentor testers on proper QA processes
  

Requirements  

• 2-5 years software test experience is required
• Proven background in testing processes and procedures
• Proven experience with PC and Console testing
• Extensive knowledge of games from all platforms
• Familiarity with MMO gaming
• Advanced skill set for using Windows applications
• Knowledge and experience with tools for scheduling and tracking deliverables
• Strong analytical skills in reviewing all design-related information and interpreting areas of risk in testing
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teammates is essential
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal direct supervision
• Previous game industry/MMO experience is a plus
